Basic Engineering

The Department of Science and Humanities, established in 2011, comprises Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry. It provides the foundational knowledge in basic sciences and mathematics essential for all engineering education, helping students build confidence and prepare for future challenges.

Diploma-level education in Engineering and Technology, offered by polytechnic colleges, is crucial in meeting the growing demand for skilled technicians. We offer programs in fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, and Computer Sciences. The first-year curriculum is common to all branches, serving as a bridge between school education and specialized engineering studies that begin in the second year.

Vision Statement

To be a premier department that equips students with excellent learning skills in basic sciences and engineering, enabling them to apply technologies professionally and ethically in a competitive world. We aim to empower students with a robust foundation in engineering principles, fostering innovation, critical thinking, and ethical values to shape future-ready engineers and responsible technicians who excel in a dynamic global technological landscape.

Mission Statement

  • To provide a quality learning environment that enhances students' skills in basic sciences and engineering.
